Scuba Haven
Scuba Haven is a boutique six-room guesthouse on Fuvahmulah, the only island in the Maldives where tiger sharks can be encountered every month of the year.
HOW IT STARTED
We opened our doors in 2016 with a simple idea: world-class diving shouldn’t require a big resort. Just a comfortable bed, honest island food, and a five-minute boat ride to one of the most famous shark dives on the planet.
We’re partnered with the island’s top dive centers, and take care of everything from airport pickup to your final logbook entry. Our small size is deliberate: with just six rooms, every guest gets personal attention, flexible schedules, and a team that knows your name by breakfast on day one.

We believe Fuvahmulah’s tiger sharks are worth far more alive in the water than anywhere else. That’s why we dive only with responsible local dive centers that respect the animals, and why we keep our house small and our guests close to the island community.
What makes us different
Fuvahmulah is unlike anywhere else in the Maldives. It sits alone in deep ocean, so big animals come right up to the reef: tiger sharks every day of the year, thresher sharks at dawn, and in season hammerheads, oceanic mantas and whale sharks. The dive sites are minutes from the harbour, and the harbour is a 3–5 minute drive from our door. Dive in the morning, rest in the afternoon, and be back in the water the next day without long boat rides or resort schedules.
Between adventures, the island itself is worth exploring. As a one-island atoll unlike anywhere else in the Maldives, Fuvahmulah has freshwater lakes, black pebble beaches, and a community that still lives at island pace. Our team is from here, and we love showing guests the Fuvahmulah beyond the dive sites.
